McCOLL — A suspect is still at large while two have been arrested for a Monday (Nov. 30) shooting incident in McColl.
According to the McColl Police Department officials, officers responded to East Gibson Avenue in McColl on Monday about shots being fired.
Witnesses said they heard a brief verbal argument from persons on opposite sides of the roadway before hearing gunshots.
Officials said officers were able to immediately identify and locate one person involved and took him into custody without incident.
After a brief manhunt, another suspect was located and taken into custody.
Officials said it was learned during the investigation that while the suspects were shooting at a male victim, two homes were also shot that was not involved in the altercation whatsoever. No person was injured during this shooting.
Stevvon Calliham Lewis, 27, and Adrian Malik Oxendine, 19, were arrested and charged with three counts of attempted murder, two counts of discharging firearms into a dwelling, criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony.
Jaheim Tyrek Thomas, 19, of McColl has not been located at this time but is wanted in connection with this incident.

Sheriff Charles Lemon assigned investigators from the Marlboro County Sheriff’s Office to assist with this investigation.
