Beach Blast returns to Lake Paul Wallace on Saturday.
The annual event will have plenty of fun, music, and swimming.
Beach Blast will start at 2 p.m. and admission is $5.
Children 12 and under are free and must be accompanied by an adult. Attendees 21 and older will be given wristbands.
Gates will open at 10 a.m. with a limit of 18 boats.
Sully Blair, chairman of the Lake Paul Wallace Authority, said vehicles that bring in boats must remain in the landing.
Coolers are allowed but no glass bottles or liquor. A photo ID is required for entry.
Beach Blast is a partnership between Lake Paul Wallace Authority and the City of Bennettsville.
Blair said they are excited to have Beach Blast return for the community and area.
Festivities start at 2 p.m. with water slides and optical races provided by Party Planet. Music will be provided by D and G Entertainment. Vendors will be at the event.
Gary Lowder and Smokin Hot will perform from 7:30-9:30 p.m. The seven-piece R&B group based out of North Myrtle Beach plays a variety of dance, soul, and party music.
Blair said he wanted to thank the different sponsors of Beach Blast.
“Beach Blast would not happen without sponsors,” he said.
