The final touches are being applied to the construction project at the First Presbyterian Church in Bennettsville. Brogdon Hall, the new fellowship building, is the first expansion to the church in over 70 years.
“We added the educational wing in the 1940s so this is the first construction since then,” said Rev. Dr. Scott Andrews, the minister at First Presbyterian.
The new fellowship hall, kitchen and restroom area adds just under 4000 square feet to the church, taking some of the parking lot on the southeastern side of the church on Broad Street.
