For anyone thinking about law enforcement and education careers, two upcoming career fairs for the Bennettsville Police Department and Marlboro County School District could provide some job opportunities.

The Bennettsville Police Department Job Fair and Open house will be held from 10 a.m.-noon Friday at the Bennettsville Public Safety Complex, 254 Hwy 15-401 Bypass East.

It is a chance for those attending to see the various department vehicles and facility and have someone from every division on hand to answer questions and give them an idea of what the police department does.

For information, call Chief Kevin Miller at 843-479-3620.

The Marlboro County School District will have a job fair from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at Marlboro County High School.

The district has openings for teachers, food service personnel, custodians/maintenance, bus drivers, technology technicians, and school counselors.

Dr. Jason Bryant, associate superintendent for human resources, curriculum, instruction and assessment, said it was a chance to apply and interview for all available positions in the district.

“This job fair will allow us to have the opportunity for potential employees to meet our leaders,” he said. “We look forward to everyone coming out.”
