All-Female country group Farewell Angelina will perform at the Marlboro Civic Center on Friday, February 15 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available for purchase now for $20. This performance is being hosted by the Marlboro Civic Center and the Bennettsville Bicentennial Celebration.
The group was originally scheduled to play in September but that performance was postponed due to Hurricane Florence.
Named after the Bob Dylan song, Farewell Angelina is an all-female country group with four powerhouse vocalists, vibrant songwriters and accomplished multi-instrumentalists. Their magical blend of heart-stopping harmonies over furious double violins and guitars has earned the group high praise across the country.
Named one of Rolling Stone’s “Country Artist You Need to Know,” the group of longtime friends, Nicole Witt, Andrea Young, Lisa Torres & Ashley Gearing all met pursuing their dreams in Nashville, TN.
These ladies have gone on to open for acclaimed acts such as Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins, Darius Rucker, Maroon 5, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Old Dominion and Jake Owen to name a few. They even had the honor of singing the National Anthem for Thursday Night Football. The band’s highly anticipated “Women and Wine” EP is set for release in January 2019.
Tickets are on sale at the Marlboro Civic Center, located at 106 Clyde Street in Bennettsville. For more event details or to reserve your seats call the Marlboro Civic Center at (843) 454-9496.
